The Optical brightener agent SWN can be dissolved in ethanol and glycol, acidic aqueous solution, resin, varnish and some organic solvents, but its solubility in water is only 0.006%. The commercial products are usually made by salting with sulfuric acid or hydrochloric acid, or mixing with organic acids (such as tartaric acid, citric acid and oxalic acid), or adding solubilizing substances to improve the solubility and dispersant, It can be applied. Add it to textiles to make it red and purple.

Optical brightener agent SWN is used in cotton textiles, which can effectively improve the appearance whiteness. This product is not suitable for bathing with sodium chlorite.
