The optical brightener ER series is an important variety in my country's optical brightener industry, and it is also one of the earliest models introduced and used in my country. It is of the stilbene benzene type. Green-yellow crystals. Easily soluble in most organic solvents. Stable to cationic softener. The light fastness is S grade, and the washing fastness is excellent. It can be used in the same bath with sodium hypochlorite, hydrogen peroxide and reducing bleach. The product is a light yellow-green dispersion, which is non-ionic. It is obtained from the condensation of terephthalaldehyde and o-cyanobenzyl phosphonic acid one (), (7' one' ethyl ester [} R 2-(diethoxy phthalomethyl) benzonitrile]. This series There are five models, and the fluorescent brighteners ER-1 and  optical brightener ER-2 are still commonly used.

Fluorescent brightener ER is suitable for the whitening and brightening of polyester (polyester) fibers. It also has a good whitening effect on polyethylene, polypropylene and other plastics and products. At the same time, it is suitable for polyester fabrics or polyester-cotton blended fabrics, yarn printing and dyeing, and whitening of polyester, acetate, nylon, and polyester-cotton blended fabrics after refining. After being treated with it, the fabric has high whiteness and pure color.
