How to use optical brightener BAC?

  • General processing technology of acrylic fiber

  Dosage: Optical brightener BAC-L 0.2-2.0% o.w.f

  Formic acid or oxalic acid to adjust pH-3.0-4.0

  Process: 95-98℃×30-45min

  Bath ratio: 1:10-40

  • Chlorine bleaching process of acrylic fiber

   Dosage: Optical brightener BAC-L 0.2-2.0% o.w.f

   Sodium nitrate: 1-3g/L

   Formic acid or oxalic acid to adjust pH-3.0-4.0

   Sodium chlorite: 1-2g/L

   Process: 95-98℃×30-45min Bath ratio: 1:10-40

  • Acrylic/Wool Blended Fabric Processing Technology

 A. oxygen bleaching process

     Hydrogen peroxide 35% 10-20 ml/l,

     Sodium pyrophosphate 1-2 g/l

     Ciba ULTRAVON CN 1-2 g/l

     PH 8-9 (ammonia water is recommended)

     Temperature × Time: 50-55 ℃ × 2-3 hours,

     Liquor ratio: 1:10-40 

B. Acrylic fiber whitening process

    Optical brightener BAC-L 0.5-2% o.w.f,

    Formic acid or oxalic acid to adjust pH-3.0-4.0

    Temperature × time: 95-98℃ × 30 minutes,

    liquor ratio: 1:10-40

C.wool reduction bleaching and whitening process

   Optical brightener BAC-L 0.25-1.0g/L

   Stabilized hydrosulfite 1-3g/L

   PH 5-6

  Temperature × time: 50-60 ℃ × 60-120 minutes

  1. This product is a special brightener for acrylic fiber. It must be dyed with sodium chlorite in the same bath to achieve the ideal whitening effect. It is best to use low-hardness water to process during dyeing to ensure BAC-L performance better.

  2. This product will release chlorine dioxide and strong acid during processing, which has a certain corrosive effect on the equipment. Please be sure to use a stainless steel dyeing vat dyeing machine and add sodium nitrate to reduce damage to the equipment.
