The world generates 300 million tons of plastic waste every year. 300 million tons of garbage is undoubtedly a huge disaster for the environment, but also a huge wealth. Compared with brand-new materials, recycled plastics have decreased appearance and performance, but Optical Brighteners can help to enhance its value.

In fact, the performance of recycled plastics has not dropped too much, and the main problem is the appearance quality. Let's take pp woven bags as an example. The color of woven bags made of recycled plastics is always yellow or dim. However, the emergence of optical brighteners has completely changed this situation.

The optical brighteners itself has no color, it uses the complementary principle of color light for whitening. The color of the woven bag is yellow and dim. The fundamental reason is that the yellow light reflected from the surface of the woven bag is too much, and then the total amount of light emitted is not enough. Fluorescent brighteners absorb invisible ultraviolet rays and emit blue-violet fluorescence visible to the naked eye, which can be said to be the nemesis of yellowing. Yellow light and blue light are complementary colors. When the two meet, they become white light. In addition, the invisible ultraviolet light is converted into visible light, which virtually increases the total reflection of the product itself.
